In 2004, playing in a local Perth cover band, André Lee and John Marsh began to write, with the idea to create their own music.
Soon after, they left the covers behind, and formed 'Jaxon Lee'. New band members were added, and the Olive Tree album was created. The album was completed in December 2007.
The album was successfully launched at The Old Bailey, 0n December the 15th, 2007, and received tremendous feedback from the public and the West Australian Music Industry. (WAM).
The title track Olive Tree made it to number 3 on the Tripple J Pop charts, and is currently featuring on the ABC radio breakfast show with Eoin Cameron.
The track has also been declared a 'hit prediction' by Gavin Crossley on 89.7 Twin Cities FM, achieving feature artist of the week in March, 2008.
Currently the track is featured in the stations top ten.
With additional songs ready to be recorded, Jaxon Lee is looking forward to what the future has in store.
